Heck, for a while there, I thought I was crazy too. But to my pleasant surprise, all 3 of the Lebanik kids did amazingly well on the 18+ hour drive there and again on the 19+ hour trip back home. Why was the trip back longer? It's because I had never seen New Orleans and Kevin wanted to drive thru on the way home. How, do you ask, did the trip go so well? Well, first got up each morning at 3:00 and were out the door by 3:45. That way, the kids were still groggy and slept for the first part of the trip. Once they got up we always made sure to find a Cracker Barrel for them to play "checker cheese" and fill them up for the long day ahead. The best thing I packed for the entire trip was the kids' baby potty. Bathroom breaks on the road averaged less than 4 minutes total time. We pulled over, let them go, I rinsed it out and we were back on the road. Seriously though, my kids were great. There was minimal whining, a total of 3 temper tantrums and a mommy that was willing to play flight attendant that made the trip a success. <br /><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhGYguMltm7DrA073xgETHtMJyu_h9WVxe8K6xDtALKZ6cG3ZUpg94Z_CcW5dMS4z3tin2w_nyYhtxTbR8xQnekDKirtdQa_rwOvmXpeurGarJrLZfSP4xtbM8MVyuhcg1xcPhyphenhyphenIi3b88BQ/s1600-h/Picture+021.jpg"><img style="display:block; I can not beginto tell ya'll how excited we are as a family. The girls don't go a moment with out mentioning the trip and the thought of some time to sight see, try new things and even visit some family just gets me plain ol' giddy inside. We leave Saturday and return home the 16th. In that week's time, we will see Epcot and the flower show going on there, ride rides at Old Town in Kississimmee, have dinner with 5 different princesses, spend 2 fun filled days at Magic Kingdom, spend a day at Dolphin Island with my cousins and then have breakfst in New Orleans' French Quarter. I am itiching to go...as is my camera! I am hoping I get some great shots for you guys. :)Kellyhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/01271154823194747536noreply@blogger.com2tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5410101228544802420.post-56748478511962404602009-05-04T07:17:00.000-07:002009-05-04T07:25:29.065-07:00Practice, Practice, Practice...Since my children are none to happy with me making them sit there so I can take thier pictures, I have branched out and I am now resorting to bribing friends, family and neighbors to let me practice on them!<br /><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgJiv0YPErh51jnY3_BosbmWsbwY2b7O7KFIMcJJsaiULF4oYCpHtBIeIaY5WAuHKi4v5EsyJu4KwjYv553Jk30uPFo30VxgyDyrKH7VYfD240EZp5hQ4wqsk12_z9L7QRfcF3T_u3RLJt6/s1600-h/CSC_2059+watermark+copy.jpg"><img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 400px; height: 320px;" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgJiv0YPErh51jnY3_BosbmWsbwY2b7O7KFIMcJJsaiULF4oYCpHtBIeIaY5WAuHKi4v5EsyJu4KwjYv553Jk30uPFo30VxgyDyrKH7VYfD240EZp5hQ4wqsk12_z9L7QRfcF3T_u3RLJt6/s400/CSC_2059+watermark+copy.jpg" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5331974489322979234" /></a><br /><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiAfJHi8Cj8LUlyly4wwG_fvWIyzlnGDmdhyZqcs_lR4pIul0CzSUa7nC0Seo30wgfnWtFYQ3F0Pd8ZfRr8vnxYFWQrnFSy8IpFyn69Y5m2i6mMP7XGhu_TmWO4m3QNAw9WfKVdLMQPLhvA/s1600-h/Picture+070+watermark+copy.jpg"><img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 320px; height: 400px;" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiAfJHi8Cj8LUlyly4wwG_fvWIyzlnGDmdhyZqcs_lR4pIul0CzSUa7nC0Seo30wgfnWtFYQ3F0Pd8ZfRr8vnxYFWQrnFSy8IpFyn69Y5m2i6mMP7XGhu_TmWO4m3QNAw9WfKVdLMQPLhvA/s400/Picture+070+watermark+copy.jpg" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5331974503748940770" /></a><br /><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEju45MVvpR2WIAPNNDWMy7InRRu-10Q-i_kSSZoduemypVYFC-6dyk4NutSNoalKkeOZ09kNvbFtrdf8Zh3tOqJK7qmyimcFsukYvPXrJI4jRwPbwC2ngQIxMBmclDqhRnjDTLgxnGC8fLf/s1600-h/Picture+013+watermark+copy.jpg"><img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 400px; height: 400px;" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEju45MVvpR2WIAPNNDWMy7InRRu-10Q-i_kSSZoduemypVYFC-6dyk4NutSNoalKkeOZ09kNvbFtrdf8Zh3tOqJK7qmyimcFsukYvPXrJI4jRwPbwC2ngQIxMBmclDqhRnjDTLgxnGC8fLf/s400/Picture+013+watermark+copy.jpg" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5331974486804152994" /></a><br /><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgzKanvpK7zbVWApHSMwDLhAGY-OnWqoZqY052ESOg5QHqEV14ATi6qVfJ6SkPnjBg5kcE66sXliuOJxt7RjBNi1-SMRs8HvWM5VIoLYe3muQYS4mSwAzNdwY6PzYsfwuaZFPkIqp5bVrfS/s1600-h/Picture+015+watermark+copy.jpg"><img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 400px; height: 320px;" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgzKanvpK7zbVWApHSMwDLhAGY-OnWqoZqY052ESOg5QHqEV14ATi6qVfJ6SkPnjBg5kcE66sXliuOJxt7RjBNi1-SMRs8HvWM5VIoLYe3muQYS4mSwAzNdwY6PzYsfwuaZFPkIqp5bVrfS/s400/Picture+015+watermark+copy.jpg" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5331974483203680658" /></a><br /><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhrCP3z_HLb5hAqOAZQknwbI_A9UV9RFAKkrLYMNod0N89Le2Y8NP4jJklOFrKtGi4nsDt8sEMdEcTY4kmT0TP9xHSWjQSvt-zStrEXj7X1r8haE6fLUWKXowkfmMrTs7ArW-novU10P0uI/s1600-h/Picture+014+watermark+copy.jpg"><img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 400px; height: 320px;" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhrCP3z_HLb5hAqOAZQknwbI_A9UV9RFAKkrLYMNod0N89Le2Y8NP4jJklOFrKtGi4nsDt8sEMdEcTY4kmT0TP9xHSWjQSvt-zStrEXj7X1r8haE6fLUWKXowkfmMrTs7ArW-novU10P0uI/s400/Picture+014+watermark+copy.jpg" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5331974479081415986" /></a>Kellyhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/01271154823194747536noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5410101228544802420.post-43939365718659883632009-05-04T07:13:00.000-07:002009-05-04T07:17:43.841-07:00Introducing...Kelly Beans Photography!<br />No, I am NOT in business, but since I am taking pictures of my friends and family to practice and eventually, maybe, go into business I wanted to look a bit more professional. So Kevin and I took the plunge and got a domain name. My site isn't up or anything, but look how cute my little logo is! We had a great time. Now that the girls were old enough, we ventured out to some commuinity Easter egg hunst in addition to the 3rd Annual Lebanik one. The Roanoke Easter egg hunt was kind of a bust though since it literally took all of 30 seconds. I was lucky to get one picture in while there were still some eggs on the ground. Even Matt had a good time landing himself 2 eggs that he refused to let go of for the rest of the day. <br /><strong></strong><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEg0TZRk9Oq9fD6yN-XlvEcT5ZikcZdkjHGNhceVXoWG-WoXBwyhRlma4m1jT9EqlGRpUU-N5CHqCjbT_BPlGbRrQRQseJKijGt5BYctJ7JjtRvBmVLILNGGvuH6eURiaWEIw95yAofZKHyV/s1600-h/Picture+028.jpg"><img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 400px; height: 266px;" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEg0TZRk9Oq9fD6yN-XlvEcT5ZikcZdkjHGNhceVXoWG-WoXBwyhRlma4m1jT9EqlGRpUU-N5CHqCjbT_BPlGbRrQRQseJKijGt5BYctJ7JjtRvBmVLILNGGvuH6eURiaWEIw95yAofZKHyV/s400/Picture+028.jpg" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5331969090669026402" /></a><br /><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiMKZET_Q40W9M9MpXFz-pWgW0E3EmvafxL7M92MP_rAWCbIvPBOEwM41NFBqr2HlN4z4Agp2FHmdsL4eWcQ23hOpiPOM0-7WMqfR-n97G6DZfhNYFj6T38gyuyaxLJXV1YhFNBH2haxiW0/s1600-h/Picture+038.jpg"><img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 400px; height: 266px;" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiMKZET_Q40W9M9MpXFz-pWgW0E3EmvafxL7M92MP_rAWCbIvPBOEwM41NFBqr2HlN4z4Agp2FHmdsL4eWcQ23hOpiPOM0-7WMqfR-n97G6DZfhNYFj6T38gyuyaxLJXV1YhFNBH2haxiW0/s400/Picture+038.jpg" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5331969097133916706" /></a><br /><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhE7UV4MCeVlY2hsyt6BSyaNgHvreu6tlrpVACZ9EWNb0l8iV9jQzMjnA6-THdzBtOiMW7RrzDAcfrY2rZNIUnDWgQnwQ6qyXlrGbtF-a5wpO3BeRJ0_K0x2c4ZIleCZIoZeX1tFjAWLuBQ/s1600-h/Picture+015+copy.jpg"><img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 400px; height: 286px;" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhE7UV4MCeVlY2hsyt6BSyaNgHvreu6tlrpVACZ9EWNb0l8iV9jQzMjnA6-THdzBtOiMW7RrzDAcfrY2rZNIUnDWgQnwQ6qyXlrGbtF-a5wpO3BeRJ0_K0x2c4ZIleCZIoZeX1tFjAWLuBQ/s400/Picture+015+copy.jpg" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5331969085591942834" /></a><br /><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgoJx8i94sOLdi0XXzB615QuDW1bdPYvarOXBo5SclSQR0L0zOi3SQ2P29b3gxiarIOMvG8KZY8A_H6JIsa4FvJK9R1L-g4bggcfBLRBwuwBsWlkpczKWSNQKn6wCbsvZfcj93tFDYPy2wh/s1600-h/Picture+016+watermarkcopy.jpg"><img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 320px; height: 400px;" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgoJx8i94sOLdi0XXzB615QuDW1bdPYvarOXBo5SclSQR0L0zOi3SQ2P29b3gxiarIOMvG8KZY8A_H6JIsa4FvJK9R1L-g4bggcfBLRBwuwBsWlkpczKWSNQKn6wCbsvZfcj93tFDYPy2wh/s400/Picture+016+watermarkcopy.jpg" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5331969082143011682" /></a><br />The following weekend, I took the kids down to our community's egg hunt. Boy oh boy was that different. There were over 13,000 eggs there that day. Can we say EXCESSIVE?!?!? There were bounce houses, face painting, crafts and of course, the Easter Bunny. Too bad Matty was worn outfrom all the activities by then. Well, at least my friend Jessica told me I had. And she is so right. Our house has changed so dramatically and the whole point of this blog was to keep ya'll abreast with all those changes. If anything, I have been so wrapped up in the changes that I haven't shared them with you all. My bad. :(<br /><br />So where were we? Well, last time I posted, mom was getting ready to leave for Las Vegas to handle all her legal stuff in one big ol' swoop. Meanwhile here, we were starting to enter the torturous three's. Yeah...what can I say to that one? Matty was taking his first few steps and Kevin and I needed a break.<br /><br />Let's fast forward oh, let's say a month. ;) Since we have transitioned Matt into his own room, our lives have become much more "normal" for a lack of a better term. All 3 take a bath at the same time. They all go to bed at the same time. They're on the same schedule. Which is nice because it gives Kevin and I some MUCH needed parent-alone time. Now he doesn't sleep through the night all the time, but I must say that I am a MUCH happier mom now that I get a few hours of rest. We took Matt to his 9 month well-baby visit and Dr. Hopkins was very impressed with my little man. He was 18 lbs. 8 oz., 27.75" tall and way ahead of both gross and fine motor skills. Matt is no longer walking, but now he is running. And climbing. And getting into every possible thing he can. He loves dog food, trash cans and the steps. He is definitely taking after his sisters.<br /><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiLLoHnC6-Yhk6-jdKww9EKTvdInRGMX39M0O9R11Q6h9sgVBJloigVviqlLu8VfdAUKjKFqOuHJIPBkLyiUbfIyhhhl32fQqQ1MJSI5SHkaZcTdpoWyJhBfFOALPhsZbPq4AKwvPk-yiaU/s1600-h/Picture+035+watermark+copy.jpg"><img id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5331964455013415058" style="DISPLAY: block; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 400px; CURSOR: hand; HEIGHT: 266px; TEXT-ALIGN: center" alt="" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiLLoHnC6-Yhk6-jdKww9EKTvdInRGMX39M0O9R11Q6h9sgVBJloigVviqlLu8VfdAUKjKFqOuHJIPBkLyiUbfIyhhhl32fQqQ1MJSI5SHkaZcTdpoWyJhBfFOALPhsZbPq4AKwvPk-yiaU/s400/Picture+035+watermark+copy.jpg" border="0" /></a><br /><br />Speaking of which, Hailey and Emma are entering full-blown diva stage. I have said it before and I'll say it again, I will take on four 2 year olds as apposed to ANY 3 year olds. EVERYTHING around here is blown way out of proportion. And now that Matt is mobile, the amount of frustration that they have is astounding. They're good girls though. Nothing makes a mom happier than when she picks her kids up from church preschool and having the teacher tell you how good that your kids are(especially compared to the others in the class!). And they are smart too! We've been doing Parents As Teachers now for a few months and the girls had their 3 year old evaluations. They both are doing things at a 4-5 year level . I am so proud of my little girls. All three of them really. I have the best kids a mom could ask for!<br /><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjT_JfZhFmH9N9xa72g6cfLO-MrhG8IRAftdFsw3-q8ntgc-Qif0_XwlmYqvYEwsUkMj78LtwmCFOBSnmR1CgBZanclMhF9YBVQWXiK1bNfUVOkVEkslziGndM-MDG3q29EC6HfqB8P5n-W/s1600-h/Picture+044+copy.jpg"><img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 320px; height: 400px;" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjT_JfZhFmH9N9xa72g6cfLO-MrhG8IRAftdFsw3-q8ntgc-Qif0_XwlmYqvYEwsUkMj78LtwmCFOBSnmR1CgBZanclMhF9YBVQWXiK1bNfUVOkVEkslziGndM-MDG3q29EC6HfqB8P5n-W/s400/Picture+044+copy.jpg" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5331966374753981202" /></a>Kellyhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/01271154823194747536noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5410101228544802420.post-31924293719836471302009-03-27T12:44:00.001-07:002009-03-27T12:44:09.354-07:00Let The Fun Begin<img style="visibility:hidden;width:0px;height:0px;" border=0 width=0 height=0 src="http://counters.gigya.com/wildfire/IMP/CXNID=2000002.0NXC/bHQ9MTIzODE4Mjk2NzE1NiZwdD*xMjM4MTgyOTkzODEyJnA9MTI1MjEmZD*mbj1ibG9nZ2VyJmc9MSZ*PSZvPWMyNWY2ZDY3ZDlkMDQwYjliMjIwYzExMWIyZjg5NzVh.gif" /><center><object classid="clsid:d27cdb6e-ae6d-11cf-96b8-444553540000" codebase="http://download.macromedia.com/pub/shockwave/cabs/flash/swflash.cab#version=9,0,0,0" width="425" height="381"><param name="movie" value="http://www.dropshots.com/dropshots.swf?p=1&u=http://media8.dropshots.com/photos/164498/20090327/132938.flv&l=http://www.dropshots.com/klebanik#date/2009-03-27/13:29:38&d=1" /><param name="wmode" value="transparent" /><param name="allowfullscreen" value="true" /><param name="allowScriptAccess" value="sameDomain" /><embed src="http://www.dropshots.com/dropshots.swf?p=1&u=http://media8.dropshots.com/photos/164498/20090327/132938.flv&l=http://www.dropshots.com/klebanik#date/2009-03-27/13:29:38&d=1" wmode="transparent" allowfullscreen="true" allowscriptaccess="sameDomain" pluginspage="http://www.macromedia.com/go/getflashplayer" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" width="425" height="381"></embed></object><br /><span style="font-family:arial; font-size:8pt;"><a href="http://www.dropshots.com/">Photo Sharing</a> - <a href="http://www.dropshots.com/">Video Sharing</a> - <a href="http://www.qualityphotoprints.com/">Photo Printing</a></span></center>Kellyhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/01271154823194747536noreply@blogger.com5tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5410101228544802420.post-78832847844637662592009-03-20T18:14:00.000-07:002009-03-20T19:00:32.568-07:00And The Award For Worst Blogger Goes To...(A Long Overdue Update)ME! My goodness, am I behind on things! Well, I guess that would be because my life is exactly as I described in my blog's intro...we run full throttle. Unfortunately, that has ment not keeping up with ya'll lately. My apologies.<br /><br />So, what have we been up to? Well, Emma and Hailey continue to amaze me. It's true, kids say the darndest things. We went to Central Market today and I bought the girls some sweedish fish. Well, while I was trying to get Matty down for a nap, the girls got into them. Before the entire bag was downed, I tried hiding them in a top cabinet. Miss Hailet pulled a chair over and proceeded to climb up to find said bag. When I yelled at her she replied, "but mom, they're so tasty!" Really? How can I be upset with a response like that. Speaking of the girls. They have descovered that horrible, horrible three letter word. Why? I now officially HATE that word! Conversations around here have gone something like this:<br /><br />Me: "Please don't throw things at your brother!"<br />Hailey: "why?"<br />Me: "Because you could hurt him. And he's a little baby"<br />Emma: "No mommy, he's a BIG baby!"<br />Me: "Just don't throw thing, okay?"<br />Emma: "okay...no mommy. Daddy throws balls. Why can't we?"<br />Me: "because I said so!"<br />Hailey: "why?"<br /><br />Ahhh...the wonders of toddler-hood! But I guess it's a good thing. I started this program that is put on by the school district called Parents As Teachers. It helps to make sure that stay at home kids are developing well and when the girls had their first evaluation, I was told that their vocabulary was impecable. I couldn't help but be a proud momma. So I guess that the girls can ask all the questions they want as long as they continue to learn. Well, maybe there are a few questions off limits, but we'll get those in a little bit. ;) The program is great though. The school puts on 2 play dates a month, has 2 smaller play dates and onces a month a teacher comes out for one-on-one time with all 3 of the kids. Even Matty is learning some beginner skills that will help him prepare for school later on down the road.<br /><br />The girls at school:<br /><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEglHn43BLmx5J8Tp7foYikhAn1iRCRnvMHlkIG36BeUI_h2OBMM-cW6c8ySoN7iOUfL5OQ4kS7mz3mOAq_ecglxygdCukmZU6elIAnH9Jya4-AHarnCVt4F-1pm4eZXJzbR0qQG09K1-Hqp/s1600-h/Picture+139.jpg"><img id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5315446661513685826" style="DISPLAY: block; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 400px; CURSOR: hand; HEIGHT: 266px; TEXT-ALIGN: center" alt="" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEglHn43BLmx5J8Tp7foYikhAn1iRCRnvMHlkIG36BeUI_h2OBMM-cW6c8ySoN7iOUfL5OQ4kS7mz3mOAq_ecglxygdCukmZU6elIAnH9Jya4-AHarnCVt4F-1pm4eZXJzbR0qQG09K1-Hqp/s400/Picture+139.jpg" border="0" /></a><br /><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEj0PIb-qtno1CyhzD-rT4jMl3OseASfyy0-zG6jH9mQUPbAwZ_AqwX2HnB00cS7FBnYhy5evrxeQvsL3ssU_dilP_BEZVF3W_bTeoahYJEE_ylOgLBLCmiO18GgwWZ67OgFX5o9kXCC6HYb/s1600-h/Picture+165.jpg"><img id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5315446668984183554" style="DISPLAY: block; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 400px; CURSOR: hand; HEIGHT: 300px; TEXT-ALIGN: center" alt="" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEj0PIb-qtno1CyhzD-rT4jMl3OseASfyy0-zG6jH9mQUPbAwZ_AqwX2HnB00cS7FBnYhy5evrxeQvsL3ssU_dilP_BEZVF3W_bTeoahYJEE_ylOgLBLCmiO18GgwWZ67OgFX5o9kXCC6HYb/s400/Picture+165.jpg" border="0" /></a><br /><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjI7w7LIBIYGAy46uZvlZAIaP92tY0cMgBzOtfpnJcD7NHTeSYlVGVF7Ya3ynfzmxwsKyjlVMhngGFufYSQ_KpwbRagqlXc-iWoDZXx0lxz_PHJReCxLW4h5snYv5Zo1MZqobhV9VGn8rhM/s1600-h/Picture+168.jpg"><img id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5315446663150228770" style="DISPLAY: block; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 400px; CURSOR: hand; HEIGHT: 300px; TEXT-ALIGN: center" alt="" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjI7w7LIBIYGAy46uZvlZAIaP92tY0cMgBzOtfpnJcD7NHTeSYlVGVF7Ya3ynfzmxwsKyjlVMhngGFufYSQ_KpwbRagqlXc-iWoDZXx0lxz_PHJReCxLW4h5snYv5Zo1MZqobhV9VGn8rhM/s400/Picture+168.jpg" border="0" /></a><br /><br />Then there is my boy. Gosh do I love this kid! I sware he is the sweetest thing in the world. And I used the word "kid" here deliberately. He is SO not my baby any more. He cut his first 2 teeth this month and is just about ready to walk. I know what you're thinking...no way! He's only 8 months old. But I'm telling ya'll, he has been cruzing for months and is now standing alone. He's even walking while only holding on to one hand. I know he is desperate to be big like his sisters, but enough is enough! I'll take my baby back even if it's for a moment. <br /><br />My big boy:<br /><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgRJUOqjMKGGjGVXa903sOjcdx6HaMVPcvEZBlRuFd0Eb7UHUfZhkD8aoBM4BnARJr1tduSI3TAmu4TGAmEbUhMLyZxJGdJ975nlD0glucixE7TzYPz6bA_SS7B09PMyJfOF4L5w9JOtrxk/s1600-h/CSC_0644.jpg"><img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 400px; height: 266px;" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgRJUOqjMKGGjGVXa903sOjcdx6HaMVPcvEZBlRuFd0Eb7UHUfZhkD8aoBM4BnARJr1tduSI3TAmu4TGAmEbUhMLyZxJGdJ975nlD0glucixE7TzYPz6bA_SS7B09PMyJfOF4L5w9JOtrxk/s400/CSC_0644.jpg" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5315448253125590370" /></a><br /><br /><br />What are Kevin and I doing these days? Well, Kevin is still kicking butt at work. But that's nothing new. He is so good at his job! And he seems to like it too. He's been able to catch a game or two of golf and talk about a great daddy, he's even agreed to a family vacation. Well, I kinda put the idea in his head, but for him to actually agree to it is WAY cool on his behalf. <br /><br />Am I mean or what?<br /><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiZPhb8eQ0Rxx8cEubypBJWdxkrvuplUtd59kgT9TAbI9CRvOUwuMNiFdxJOm-VYS69w2I9RGnhgqiE3yVmTqEBWcgMPyDSv1gD23Ex5yp2PMmMlRnQI4o5IC1PM7DaVd1J68qjwkfYBZsv/s1600-h/CSC_0685.jpg"><img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 400px; height: 266px;" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiZPhb8eQ0Rxx8cEubypBJWdxkrvuplUtd59kgT9TAbI9CRvOUwuMNiFdxJOm-VYS69w2I9RGnhgqiE3yVmTqEBWcgMPyDSv1gD23Ex5yp2PMmMlRnQI4o5IC1PM7DaVd1J68qjwkfYBZsv/s400/CSC_0685.jpg" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5315449083424046434" /></a><br />We're planning on going the second week in May. Can I tell you, I am so excited? I may be more excited than the girls right now!<br /><br />Me? Well God has finally answered my prayers. I have been able to start running again, but I am taking things really slow. I don't want to hurt myself or cause injury that might make things worse. Besides, I have enough other things to fill my plate right now. I am learning to take things in moderation and to enjoy life as it happens. The good, the bad and everything inbetween. Besides, I have become quite fond of photography so I am learning to balance picture time with kiddo time, running time, church time and hubby time. You know, maybe I should join the circus! It sounds like i'm getting this juggling thing down!<br /><br />Here are a few of my favorite pics that I've taken recently:<br /><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEh-AHA9_eqsdyYUZH5qf7sq79AFlZYlhBJptQLOtaNWnM4VYbvNAMChuBqGF27c4ZxfsfGaaV-WypEYULiRPnlkNoLOTd2GZukfs2FY4Lhl8zgQXyqphq_h6P3RbIdyffhkvvYnYJsC4lr4/s1600-h/CSC_0788+watermarkcopy.jpg"><img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 400px; height: 320px;" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEh-AHA9_eqsdyYUZH5qf7sq79AFlZYlhBJptQLOtaNWnM4VYbvNAMChuBqGF27c4ZxfsfGaaV-WypEYULiRPnlkNoLOTd2GZukfs2FY4Lhl8zgQXyqphq_h6P3RbIdyffhkvvYnYJsC4lr4/s400/CSC_0788+watermarkcopy.jpg" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5315450940824314162" /></a><br /><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjzEgdmjJB2CdmqqyUGqFWAcHelh6TbNeMoLnYk0oaS8o5zsQvObf-FYJzCd-cVKItxjBArpRH5xZLIaIcDg6aTqS9TGdmftNSeN18_8-Atn6IdwEop5wlhCTC74Ik69EgPdlB5qcAwc0-j/s1600-h/Picture+292+watermarkcopy.jpg"><img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 400px; height: 320px;" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjzEgdmjJB2CdmqqyUGqFWAcHelh6TbNeMoLnYk0oaS8o5zsQvObf-FYJzCd-cVKItxjBArpRH5xZLIaIcDg6aTqS9TGdmftNSeN18_8-Atn6IdwEop5wlhCTC74Ik69EgPdlB5qcAwc0-j/s400/Picture+292+watermarkcopy.jpg" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5315450978682371506" /></a><br /><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEj603eS-NlP779X6AkXnofE9FrG_68-m1Z17-KIvl7IYkJGUP2GW3YGFb_ybuIHBxak2SURE4KANvzB3kNygw9BJn7_k4FHRfckVSDYXxRGd7OrR6ie71APQczheMva5DBCNI6Elu0ydPFM/s1600-h/CSC_2972+websharpcopy2.jpg"><img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 400px; height: 297px;" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEj603eS-NlP779X6AkXnofE9FrG_68-m1Z17-KIvl7IYkJGUP2GW3YGFb_ybuIHBxak2SURE4KANvzB3kNygw9BJn7_k4FHRfckVSDYXxRGd7OrR6ie71APQczheMva5DBCNI6Elu0ydPFM/s400/CSC_2972+websharpcopy2.jpg" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5315450973661466178" /></a><br /><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjU2eJpZdV4wYoCQE2zpZ-UQxkK5zBSX7d6gzNq4GevtE_9wNqvLPXhbZGivDxSeq-e9YrnKVa3PnzFB2Ue3JeSca5yfDUxIWlIDAKTJl1KTM0DtOECPW3m7dkf_M3OPv0nSWUSPEAWpOSn/s1600-h/CSC_0955+watermarkcopy.jpg"><img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 400px; height: 320px;" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjU2eJpZdV4wYoCQE2zpZ-UQxkK5zBSX7d6gzNq4GevtE_9wNqvLPXhbZGivDxSeq-e9YrnKVa3PnzFB2Ue3JeSca5yfDUxIWlIDAKTJl1KTM0DtOECPW3m7dkf_M3OPv0nSWUSPEAWpOSn/s400/CSC_0955+watermarkcopy.jpg" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5315450947305646770" /></a><br /><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgYAPKL8QGPQXCwGNVTtGC2HUkEVtuSIqpt75DmgUiBBFS-WQxPU32r_cUpZBjNrvwz7mMJ2a69LEMoutlso9U0KdundJAXVxcaVDpjzrC8FFZJ8uT7A5h5GJxrAsr3ciecgovxADRE-ynN/s1600-h/Picture+004+printablecopy.jpg"><img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 320px; height: 400px;" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgYAPKL8QGPQXCwGNVTtGC2HUkEVtuSIqpt75DmgUiBBFS-WQxPU32r_cUpZBjNrvwz7mMJ2a69LEMoutlso9U0KdundJAXVxcaVDpjzrC8FFZJ8uT7A5h5GJxrAsr3ciecgovxADRE-ynN/s400/Picture+004+printablecopy.jpg" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5315450937259500162" /></a><br /><br />I have a ton more to talk about like what Mom's doing, Matty's girlfriend, the girls doing a photo shoot and everything else, but I'll save them for different posts. It's safe cause it doesn't have meat in it and the veggies are all super soft and small...perfect for babies! Both Hailey and Emma loved the new textures and tastes. Not to mention the thrill of eating "big people" food. <br /><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhMO_p7BQ-m4sBO79SYFcmCEFABTDF2-tqZLdYWr6LkTGHAXZCbOCG3MZDLFMF8343dKWkZfDpdg7UkuM-rooIwfvsTDDbHoNAxFlEg9-A3CRJIFLnekk6XVX4Q9fZzrD_Ls8DUQ6ozqDLE/s1600-h/b_172748.jpg"><img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 400px; height: 300px;" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhMO_p7BQ-m4sBO79SYFcmCEFABTDF2-tqZLdYWr6LkTGHAXZCbOCG3MZDLFMF8343dKWkZfDpdg7UkuM-rooIwfvsTDDbHoNAxFlEg9-A3CRJIFLnekk6XVX4Q9fZzrD_Ls8DUQ6ozqDLE/s400/b_172748.jpg" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5302768797238965250" /></a><br /><br />Ironically enough, their first experience with soup was the beginning of February. The same as Matty. And just like the girls, Matty instantly fell in love with the old time favorite. I am continually amazed at how similar and yet how different Matthew is from his sisters. All three love to be adventurous. All three love to play. However the Independence of the girls has been balanced with Matthew's desire to cuddle. It was the piece that I was missing. God truly knows what he's doing after all. <br /><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiUNgbPvds3Co9SQLNh4M8kva7UFyOMS2OC8G5hKcZJmXqdiITc5ZWqmtAbpwpNrVwgYSXFihdm5c05iKmiAbydMob4_BJVJZFdZ-oEIjiqa2dQ9QciURHzrmXiR5DHLSG2VzQZAHzJwnCi/s1600-h/CSC_1636.jpg"><img style="display:block; Matthew actually started to scoot back on January 5th, but Kevin was unable to get that on video. He was interupted by a terrible phone call regarding his mother. She had passed away. In the week that followed, Matty mastered the art of sitting unassisted, started to full on crawl and by the time his daddy had returned, we had also gotten the great news that our little man's vsd was almost healed. Talk about a whirl wind month! Now, just a couple weeks later, Matthew has taken his very first cruzing steps and has started pulling up as you saw by the video. I went back and looked to see when the girls started to hit these milestones. Ya'll, I'm sad! He is doing things way before the girls. I am desperately looking for the pause button. Heck, I'll settle for a slow-motion option if I can find one. As hectic as the past 6 months have been, I am scared that these precious baby moments are going to all pass up by before we know it. I know though, that Matty has a very good reason for wanting to grow up fast. As my friend Jodie said, it's "survival of the fittest" in this house and H&E pull no punches. Me-Maw told the girls the other day, "Matt is gonna grow bigger than you one of these days and then you'll be sorry". Well, we'll see. After all, there is only 1 of him and 2 of the girls. In the mean time, I am trying to savor each and every second of my little boy being just that...my little boy.Kellyhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/01271154823194747536noreply@blogger.com2tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5410101228544802420.post-85433612226759435432009-01-29T11:15:00.000-08:002009-01-29T11:29:05.497-08:00Will You Be My Valentine???Back on 19<span class="blsp-spelling-error" id="SPELLING_ERROR_0">th</span>, the kids and I had our second annual Valentine's Day party. Yes, I'm very well aware that it wasn't in fact Valentine's Day, but we really wanted Desiree' and the kids to be able to come, so we had it on a day that school was out. Martin Luther King Jr. Day. The girls love having play dates. They take after their mommy when it comes to being active. And it sure shows. So we invited over some friends from gymnastics, Auntie Desi and the kids, the A's and some of our other neighborhood friends. It really was nice to see some of my friends too. Life always seems to get in the way and next thing you know, it's been months since you've seen your girlfriends. Back to the party. I hope all 12 of the kids had a good time. I sure did. Not only did we make Valentine mailboxes, but we also played outside, made candy necklaces and decorated cupcakes. Matt slept most of the time, but I'm sure next year he'll be trying to steal <span class="blsp-spelling-corrected" id="SPELLING_ERROR_1">kisses</span> from all of H&E's pretty friends.<br /><br /><br /><br /><br /><br /><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiQ415roJ9SYJwYt65aUs5H6QtwtsassUGsqUJESWhy8s9IXkcEiR6Ghklf0O4w_CpZHFhWLjwwlTU07pBwM2RfSWmRx-cFv-6hCUtJBBjQHGG5gFc4Fbtoxs1h8RQmvB4zgZ1rxYBh4nV6/s1600-h/CSC_1094.jpg"></a><br /><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhiKNvSumm2NO7Yhxg6JVZLF3fH4DTyfEeamP9Zm0pzRMbCk3iwRLU2cxhGxN8tBhxImsE9wmL8iyC5CKidrC89RpFpDxXz2NVkkiloWAc248o5meAizmAjCjkK0T3iXod4gmkPdFJX3K9w/s1600-h/CSC_1095+copy.jpg"><img id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5296799357974483698" style="DISPLAY: block; We have been so blessed. We love you Matthew!Kellyhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/01271154823194747536noreply@blogger.com7tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5410101228544802420.post-57712275663606435552009-01-05T05:03:00.000-08:002009-01-06T09:32:15.999-08:00Happy New Year! (A Few Days Late)<div>Happy 2009 ya'll! Is everyone else having a hard time dating checks again? I know I sure am. It seems to take me a good couple weeks before I stop writing the previous year on checks and things like that. Old habits die hard I guess. None the less, I couldn't be happier that 2008 is in our past. GOOD RIDDENS! I sware, 2008 was the year that seemed to never end...in a bad way. The highlight of the year was obviously Matty's birth, but I could have skipped the rest of the year entirely. </div><div></div><br /><div>On to a better, brighter future. Matty started crawling a few days ago and we're getting ready for his 6 month appointment. Can you believe how time has flown? I know I sure can't. I'm continuing to enjoy my job as the Children's Church coordinator at Lakeside, the girls are having a blast in their gymnastics class and Kevin is still blowing away his numbers as a valuable member of the John Deere team. Even my mom is moving ahead to a brighter future. She is looking at getting a place of her own in addition to trying out some extra curricular activities to keep her busy.<br /></div><div>How did we welcome in the new, highly anticipated year? The same way any family with three young kids would. We were in bed by 9:30 pm! But boy oh boy did we get down with our bad selves before then! We were invited over to our friends Shelly and Eric's house for some New Year's Eve festivities. Although Emma was a bit of a party pooper (she wanted to sleep by 7:45) Hailey had fun with sparklers, Kevin had a beer or two with his friend Eric who just got back from Iraq, Matt got spoiled rotten by all the women there and Mom and I ate some awesome tostadas that Shelly had cooked up. </div><br /><div>From the Lebaniks to all of our friends and family, we hope that everyone had an amazing holiday season and we hope that your 2009 is filled with good times, health and most of all love!</div><div></div><br /><br /><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEid9JgTpBFFpbi5u0IahhWFeO_X9SUJQZEHpWhD9lLGh5OTADzS8xMWqe3fEUE3YKGf7tdDBnXsz_uN9GMFSc39-XM9_2jFQA7MaxeknwvzRxTZxsQWJDzXSmKbuLKigOhoovWeGr5g_wKr/s1600-h/CSC_0403.jpg"><img id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5288232219254517058" style="DISPLAY: block; Last month, Hailey and Emma kicked poor Santa out of his own chair, refusing to have anything to do with him. Now, on the 27<span class="blsp-spelling-error" id="SPELLING_ERROR_0">th</span> of December, they are crying cause he is the coolest guy on earth and they want him to come back and visit us again. All despite the fact that Santa only supplied a few pair of <span class="blsp-spelling-error" id="SPELLING_ERROR_1">jammies</span> and some shirts, I think. All the COOL stuff was gifted by either Mommy and Daddy, Me-Maw or Papa. Yeah, seriously our kiddos made out like bandits all thanks to a suffering economy and precious Black <span class="blsp-spelling-corrected" id="SPELLING_ERROR_2">Friday</span> deals. You HAVE to love <span class="blsp-spelling-error" id="SPELLING_ERROR_3">Wal</span>-Mart's price matching policy!!! I was able to get a V-tech game system for $25 <span class="blsp-spelling-corrected" id="SPELLING_ERROR_4">which</span> left me $15 to purchase a game for them. The $40 saved allowed us to buy so much more for them while using the same amount of money. And since his happened to be my dad's money technically, it was a double bonus to us. Enough about great sales, deals and money saved, here's what <span class="blsp-spelling-error" id="SPELLING_ERROR_10">ya'll</span> want to see, pictures of the kids enjoying life, enjoying the holidays and that sweet baby boy of mine. Too cold. Oh my gosh, sorry, I had to finish off that line. I know, I'm corny.<br /><br />Friday was a great day! We had lots of fun around the <span class="blsp-spelling-error" id="SPELLING_ERROR_0">Lebanik</span> house. Well, not in the house, but yeah...you know what I'm getting at. The kids and I made a trip to the air port to pick up my brother Ryan(who just graduated from <span class="blsp-spelling-error" id="SPELLING_ERROR_1">UNVL</span>) and my mom. She had been in Vegas for a week visiting with friends and of course watching Ryan's commencement. After we picked them up, we headed to the mall to burn some time before Kevin got off of work. Besides, I was in desperate need of some winter hats for the girls. It was going to get cold again before Christmas and we had something extra special planned for that night. I had been given 4 tickets to the ICE! exhibit at the Gaylord Texan Resort so we met up with Kevin as soon as he could leave work. ICE! is an exhibit of over 2 millions pounds of ice that were made into sculptures by 40 visiting artists from China. And to keep all of that ice from melting, they keep it COLD in there. Well below freezing. They did provide these super long, thick coasts for everyone to wear, but even then we rushed through as the kids got very cold... very quickly. Afterwards, we hit <span class="blsp-spelling-error" id="SPELLING_ERROR_2">Quizno's</span> for some quick dinner and headed home. The girls love having Uncle Ryan in the house. He is great with the kids. He plays with them and lets them totally beat on him. I think they'll be sad when he goes back home. But in the mean time, here are some pictures from ICE! including one of Emma and her Uncle Ryan that I absolutely love.<br /><br /><br /><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiSXIo8l496Bjd7s-7SeqbEr2Qmwz8Iq77PLMzc6rTXu29avWJrDsXzTTTArlm-TN52Wj-z3Qb7HkNI01A1GDVPukTHSRAmgCyNuWQ6FTwhjM0Rw5OiphxjwnaDDwP9-PjDrZWWHFV17-Ru/s1600-h/TX_ice-logo-with-sponsors_lg.jpg"><img id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5282968768465282274" style="DISPLAY: block; I really think the next 8 weeks are going to be a blast for the girls. Today, the girls had their very first gymnastics class at the Roanoke Rec Center. It's an 8 week class and there are a total of 6 kids in the class. Only 4 were there today, but it was still a lot of fun. They get to do everything from learn how to do a cartwheel to the rings, the balance beam and even the vault. I think it's great too that they teach the kids valuable life lessons like taking turns, following directions and safety. Here are a few pictures of the girls in their leotards and leg warmers...messy hair and all!<br /><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgegWhxY6tV56w41EG9OqH417yOqOx3PsA5BmXfub5uKYYjkA4ajzB0xi5fXWFnzPf2bmM_HMz37HHS83uBTxqKCfHvLWN4QQG5n2K_w2XbHlw8bGqQ2aDr3VMvAfBz6WzevUIAtihmVfMQ/s1600-h/3118311479_565c24afd6_b.jpg"><img id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5281244347422737970" style="DISPLAY: block; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 400px; CURSOR: hand; HEIGHT: 300px; TEXT-ALIGN: center" alt="" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgegWhxY6tV56w41EG9OqH417yOqOx3PsA5BmXfub5uKYYjkA4ajzB0xi5fXWFnzPf2bmM_HMz37HHS83uBTxqKCfHvLWN4QQG5n2K_w2XbHlw8bGqQ2aDr3VMvAfBz6WzevUIAtihmVfMQ/s400/3118311479_565c24afd6_b.jpg" border="0" /></a><br /><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEh_E5J45Tg2mJkzHrX1RCafaeBiMZPzSUYP6hnjHjulUF2XArUdFZEXgMpW0ytE4vT0EiclMXPAINeXV3STwTxWppk7Kw3Svh2B1KFXT05pQRFjzAUB2UNULhyVdABGAx9WOy3wk-DjYxsX/s1600-h/3118310209_96e1a3a44a_b.jpg"><img id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5281244357895361122" style="DISPLAY: block; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 400px; CURSOR: hand; HEIGHT: 266px; TEXT-ALIGN: center" alt="" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEh_E5J45Tg2mJkzHrX1RCafaeBiMZPzSUYP6hnjHjulUF2XArUdFZEXgMpW0ytE4vT0EiclMXPAINeXV3STwTxWppk7Kw3Svh2B1KFXT05pQRFjzAUB2UNULhyVdABGAx9WOy3wk-DjYxsX/s400/3118310209_96e1a3a44a_b.jpg" border="0" /></a><br /><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiiiz2GeMCXPcCox0_8MUdDCs1iGJ9jCCO5TOORnVYXxIik-5YJbKilfmENtVZqaaz8nOSJFRgRnDQRinVEhmTMM7COK4AyhGOiQoCCoiiUUV5yz5hKBd8KdaqBIJYJgdF8SWeCiogXTiQc/s1600-h/3119139368_959cbd2a07_b.jpg"><img id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5281244359232261954" style="DISPLAY: block; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 266px; CURSOR: hand; HEIGHT: 400px; TEXT-ALIGN: center" alt="" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiiiz2GeMCXPcCox0_8MUdDCs1iGJ9jCCO5TOORnVYXxIik-5YJbKilfmENtVZqaaz8nOSJFRgRnDQRinVEhmTMM7COK4AyhGOiQoCCoiiUUV5yz5hKBd8KdaqBIJYJgdF8SWeCiogXTiQc/s400/3119139368_959cbd2a07_b.jpg" border="0" /></a><br /><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjGzL83fuYwSx5IgiPrNfVnj7Ju8nLq9R4kDe73VOIvyp0CPfSj5e1637gae4wRvlyaG8WsUL8MMV7wQjbz1V0YxxINtcjWQLUeHUiMtWQfxC9yAhDC1XeWQmTWWYx91BE9ISaUr9mefZKS/s1600-h/3119138542_67f82578db_b.jpg"><img id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5281244356377332530" style="DISPLAY: block; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 400px; CURSOR: hand; HEIGHT: 320px; TEXT-ALIGN: center" alt="" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjGzL83fuYwSx5IgiPrNfVnj7Ju8nLq9R4kDe73VOIvyp0CPfSj5e1637gae4wRvlyaG8WsUL8MMV7wQjbz1V0YxxINtcjWQLUeHUiMtWQfxC9yAhDC1XeWQmTWWYx91BE9ISaUr9mefZKS/s400/3119138542_67f82578db_b.jpg" border="0" /></a><br /><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhafgshREZVyjJt2knXt-rdjof985MjSwCZGCt0xYW5CiZp87_Qe5uV1MJZCjKX70AVPPSXQNYu0StVhBxOolzk13xp-ZrpVjzxNGCDYZnmlTOkPTmd4c1VC8FtClEftT4G4TtzF3PRW2Rl/s1600-h/3118312693_530d56fc46_b.jpg"><img id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5281244352729137346" style="DISPLAY: block; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 300px; CURSOR: hand; HEIGHT: 400px; TEXT-ALIGN: center" alt="" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhafgshREZVyjJt2knXt-rdjof985MjSwCZGCt0xYW5CiZp87_Qe5uV1MJZCjKX70AVPPSXQNYu0StVhBxOolzk13xp-ZrpVjzxNGCDYZnmlTOkPTmd4c1VC8FtClEftT4G4TtzF3PRW2Rl/s400/3118312693_530d56fc46_b.jpg" border="0" /></a>Kellyhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/01271154823194747536noreply@blogger.com4tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5410101228544802420.post-24733505728843819882008-12-15T05:03:00.001-08:002008-12-15T05:08:21.078-08:00Is He An Angel Or What?!?!For Christmas, my wonderful, amazing, charming, thoughtful husband bought me a fancy new camera. (did I add in enough adjectives???)I am so darn excited about this bad boy! It is an amazing piece of equipment! I can't wait to start taking some pics of the kids. Speaking of, here is my first test shot. I know I'm bias, but you have to admit, he looks like a sleeping angel with those lashes of his! <br /><center><a href="http://www.dropshots.com/" target="_top"><img style="ms-interpolation-mode: bicubic" src="http://media4.dropshots.com/photos/164498/20081214/144136.jpg" width="425" border="0" /></a><br /><span style="font-family:arial;font-size:8;"><a href="http://www.dropshots.com/">Photo Sharing</a> - <a href="http://www.dropshots.com/">Video Sharing</a> - <a href="http://www.qualityphotoprints.com/">Photo Printing</a></span></center><img style="VISIBILITY: hidden; WIDTH: 0px; HEIGHT: 0px" height="0" src="http://counters.gigya.com/wildfire/IMP/CXNID=2000002.0NXC/bHQ9MTIyOTM*NjE3MDY1NiZwdD*xMjI5MzQ2MTk1MTQwJnA9MTI1MjEmZD*mbj1ibG9nZ2VyJmc9MSZ*PSZvPWExNzliYzg3MzA5NTQ5ZmU5ZWM2NzhjNzg5NmI3ZmFh.gif" width="0" border="0" />Kellyhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/01271154823194747536noreply@blogger.com3tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5410101228544802420.post-88495764584611389612008-12-12T05:30:00.001-08:002008-12-12T05:35:31.396-08:00Buikding a Cookie Man HouseEach family has their own holiday tradition. The first year Kevin and I were married, I made a gingerbread house. Ever since then, we have made one to keep till after Christmas. Last year we spiced it up and did one of those trees instead. This year it was back to the old classic. Hailey and Emma did such a great job by themselves...okay, we helped just a little, but as you can tell by the pictures and video, they were the main designers.<br /><br /><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgfs_a2nL0N8QmuksOYTskWSoyyGqPlUeBjujB1AG7Bmax5GwndpLF975VK6dcS27idubQxt2j2Zr5DyOI2iwp2I7Vyl8tweZaEx4fcbTfWujIhLLxvYKopBQcMgRD_4Aw1PFAgSpkI1Rgm/s1600-h/P1030367.JPG"><img id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5278896079073302578" style="DISPLAY: block; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 400px; CURSOR: hand; HEIGHT: 300px; TEXT-ALIGN: center" alt="" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgfs_a2nL0N8QmuksOYTskWSoyyGqPlUeBjujB1AG7Bmax5GwndpLF975VK6dcS27idubQxt2j2Zr5DyOI2iwp2I7Vyl8tweZaEx4fcbTfWujIhLLxvYKopBQcMgRD_4Aw1PFAgSpkI1Rgm/s400/P1030367.JPG" border="0" /></a><br /><center><br /><object codebase="http://download.macromedia.com/pub/shockwave/cabs/flash/swflash.cab#version=" height="381" width="425" classid="clsid:d27cdb6e-ae6d-11cf-96b8-444553540000"><param name="_cx" value="11245"><param name="_cy" value="10081"><param name="FlashVars" value=""><param name="Movie" value="http://www.dropshots.com/dropshots.swf?p=1&u=http://media4.dropshots.com/photos/164498/20081211/190024.flv&l=http://www.dropshots.com/klebanik#date/2008-12-11/19:00:24&d=1"><param name="Src" value="http://www.dropshots.com/dropshots.swf?p=1&u=http://media4.dropshots.com/photos/164498/20081211/190024.flv&l=http://www.dropshots.com/klebanik#date/2008-12-11/19:00:24&d=1"><param name="WMode" value="Transparent"><param name="Play" value="-1"><param name="Loop" value="-1"><param name="Quality" value="High"><param name="SAlign" value=""><param name="Menu" value="-1"><param name="Base" value=""><param name="AllowScriptAccess" value="sameDomain"><param name="Scale" value="ShowAll"><param name="DeviceFont" value="0"><param name="EmbedMovie" value="0"><param name="BGColor" value=""><param name="SWRemote" value=""><param name="MovieData" value=""><param name="SeamlessTabbing" value="1"><param name="Profile" value="0"><param name="ProfileAddress" value=""><param name="ProfilePort" value="0"><param name="AllowNetworking" value="all"><param name="AllowFullScreen" value="true"><br /><embed src="http://www.dropshots.com/dropshots.swf?p=1&u=http://media4.dropshots.com/photos/164498/20081211/190024.flv&l=http://www.dropshots.com/klebanik#date/2008-12-11/19:00:24&d=1" wmode="transparent" allowfullscreen="true" allowscriptaccess="sameDomain" pluginspage="http://www.macromedia.com/go/getflashplayer" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" width="425" height="381"></embed></object><br /><span style="font-family:arial;font-size:8;"><a href="http://www.dropshots.com/">Photo Sharing</a> - <a href="http://www.dropshots.com/">Video Sharing</a> - <a href="http://www.qualityphotoprints.com/">Photo Printing</a></span></center><img style="VISIBILITY: hidden; WIDTH: 0px; HEIGHT: 0px" height="0" src="http://counters.gigya.com/wildfire/IMP/CXNID=2000002.0NXC/bHQ9MTIyOTA4ODYwNTg5MCZwdD*xMjI5MDg4NjI4OTIxJnA9MTI1MjEmZD*mbj1ibG9nZ2VyJmc9MSZ*PSZvPWExNzliYzg3MzA5NTQ5ZmU5ZWM2NzhjNzg5NmI3ZmFh.gif" width="0" border="0" />Kellyhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/01271154823194747536noreply@blogger.com4tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5410101228544802420.post-57560107118300930852008-12-07T17:59:00.001-08:002008-12-07T18:08:18.693-08:00Rub-A-Dub-Dub 3 Lebaniks In The Tub!You know when a baby is too big for a baby bath? When he sits <span class="blsp-spelling-corrected" id="SPELLING_ERROR_0">himself</span> up, grabs the lotion bottle and swings it around knocking everything on the counter onto the ground. That's when! Matt had been doing this for about a week now, but I didn't want to admit to myself that he was becoming a big boy. Well, as big as a 5 month old can get anyways. So here was have it, the <span class="blsp-spelling-corrected" id="SPELLING_ERROR_1">beginning</span> of a new era. The era where the girls have to share their toys and make room for Matty. It's amazing just how small a tub is when you put two toddlers and a bath seat in there. Matty, you're really in for a treat. This weekend, Kevin, the girls and I went to Oklahoma to visit our friends Casey, David, Cole and Wade for Cole's 3rd birthday party. And this wasn't just ANY birthday party...it was a DIEGO BIRTHDAY PARTY! There was this cool lady there with all kinds of animals for the kids to play with, hold and even stand on. Well alright, they could only stand on the tortoise, but you get the picture. It was pretty dang cool. The girls were excited to see some of the animals that they've seen on Diego, but mommy was none too thrilled to see the python. Regardless, I did touch it! I was so proud of myself. Speaking of being proud, my children did amazing on the road trip there and back. They counted Mc Donalds along the way, used our new favorite gadget, the portable dvd player, and slept. Matt did equally as well only needing to be soothed a few times on the 3 hour trip home. And I can't blame him. It had been a long day for the little guy who is battling bronchitis and an ear infection. The trip was worth it despite kids that were under the weather. It was nice to see our friends. We've missed them since they moved a few months ago. It's amazing how big Cole and Wade had gotten in just a couple short months. Anyways, here are a couple pics from the party and all the fun animals that were there:<br /><br />Hails on the tortoise<br /><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEh-l0VLltb8t0EiCuOmXDxZvnNWXHpcSwr3F1xZzgc2k_mwcbiuLb2xuNjKfMQrH_Jvwi057xDDGpnQi6Ubbtt1-YMv-Q_7_jFbLT1U6SANyFLlQjfSMpVQJAqvkxrJh6A3RXhJTDxSBdhw/s1600-h/P1030245.JPG"><img id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5277232853536634098" style="DISPLAY: block; Last year the girls were totally oblivious to the holiday season. This year, all they want to do is look at their Christmas tree! We had a good time Sunday decorating the tree. Yes, every ornament that the girls put on ended up on the same branch, but that was okay. They had a blast doing it. The tree isn't finished yet. I am going to have the girls make a paper chain to finish it off, but the bones are all up. This age is so much fun. I can't wait till Matt is old enough to join in. It really does make me thankful for my amazing family.<br /><br /><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEg-5q-Ruqx7j7gUhwiJnWKCtEQwtLOlYxxaBs4yKeRgGOTgsI4BUGJVOycI0bV2js5KuhNqIJh9qkDY2k_OKGvVufZEFqEA2xxIXOIUI0oVIoDPAS2EcCu5O3geamQWk6keiRE3mxEWPXzT/s1600-h/P1030093.JPG"><img id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5275973752447901570" style="DISPLAY: block; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 400px; CURSOR: hand; HEIGHT: 300px; TEXT-ALIGN: center" alt="" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEg-5q-Ruqx7j7gUhwiJnWKCtEQwtLOlYxxaBs4yKeRgGOTgsI4BUGJVOycI0bV2js5KuhNqIJh9qkDY2k_OKGvVufZEFqEA2xxIXOIUI0oVIoDPAS2EcCu5O3geamQWk6keiRE3mxEWPXzT/s400/P1030093.JPG" border="0" /></a><br />Christmas, brought to you by John Deere<br /><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiGDB7G1klMI8s2FVIedf6mhXliSXB1paUgmFz5xDbo7hzjXrb6SkUxAC7JY7-xJoIOXAgiOclliO7DnoVUI1bq0HTN4OuIEm8B9lKkhE5eXxfHFJGh71kdiP_dh84XBjlelrKFRHaHJYZO/s1600-h/P1030119.JPG"><img id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5275974028320977842" style="DISPLAY: block; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 400px; CURSOR: hand; HEIGHT: 300px; TEXT-ALIGN: center" alt="" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiGDB7G1klMI8s2FVIedf6mhXliSXB1paUgmFz5xDbo7hzjXrb6SkUxAC7JY7-xJoIOXAgiOclliO7DnoVUI1bq0HTN4OuIEm8B9lKkhE5eXxfHFJGh71kdiP_dh84XBjlelrKFRHaHJYZO/s400/P1030119.JPG" border="0" /></a><br /><br /><center><object codebase="http://download.macromedia.com/pub/shockwave/cabs/flash/swflash.cab#version=" height="381" width="425" classid="clsid:d27cdb6e-ae6d-11cf-96b8-444553540000"><param name="_cx" value="11245"><param name="_cy" value="10081"><param name="FlashVars" value=""><param name="Movie" value="http://www.dropshots.com/dropshots.swf?p=1&u=http://media3.dropshots.com/photos/164498/20081130/190500.flv&l=http://www.dropshots.com/klebanik#date/2008-11-30/19:05:00&d=1"><param name="Src" value="http://www.dropshots.com/dropshots.swf?p=1&u=http://media3.dropshots.com/photos/164498/20081130/190500.flv&l=http://www.dropshots.com/klebanik#date/2008-11-30/19:05:00&d=1"><param name="WMode" value="Transparent"><param name="Play" value="-1"><param name="Loop" value="-1"><param name="Quality" value="High"><param name="SAlign" value=""><param name="Menu" value="-1"><param name="Base" value=""><param name="AllowScriptAccess" value="sameDomain"><param name="Scale" value="ShowAll"><param name="DeviceFont" value="0"><param name="EmbedMovie" value="0"><param name="BGColor" value=""><param name="SWRemote" value=""><param name="MovieData" value=""><param name="SeamlessTabbing" value="1"><param name="Profile" value="0"><param name="ProfileAddress" value=""><param name="ProfilePort" value="0"><param name="AllowNetworking" value="all"><param name="AllowFullScreen" value="true"><embed src="http://www.dropshots.com/dropshots.swf?p=1&u=http://media3.dropshots.com/photos/164498/20081130/190500.flv&l=http://www.dropshots.com/klebanik#date/2008-11-30/19:05:00&d=1" wmode="transparent" allowfullscreen="true" allowscriptaccess="sameDomain" pluginspage="http://www.macromedia.com/go/getflashplayer" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" width="425" height="381"></embed></object><br /><span style="font-family:arial;font-size:8;"><a href="http://www.dropshots.com/">Photo Sharing</a> - <a href="http://www.dropshots.com/">Video Sharing</a> - <a href="http://www.qualityphotoprints.com/">Photo Printing</a></span></center><img style="VISIBILITY: hidden; WIDTH: 0px; HEIGHT: 0px" height="0" src="http://counters.gigya.com/wildfire/IMP/CXNID=2000002.0NXC/bHQ9MTIyODQwODE5MTM5MCZwdD*xMjI4NDA4MjQxMDkzJnA9MTI1MjEmZD*mbj1ibG9nZ2VyJmc9MSZ*PSZvPTEyMmNkNzE4ODAzNDRhM2I4NjRlNGM1MmM5MzcxNGE3.gif" width="0" border="0" />Kellyhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/01271154823194747536noreply@blogger.com2tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5410101228544802420.post-32410490542246065302008-12-04T07:22:00.000-08:002008-12-04T08:59:42.229-08:00Happy Black Friday! Er, I mean Happy Thanksgiving!<div align="left">Happy Turkey Day everyone! I hope that everyone had a wonderful holiday. We had kind of a low-key day. Kevin had had epidural shots in his back the day before so the poor thing wasn't doing so well on Thanksgiving day. Luckily, we didn't have too much to do for dinner that day. In true Texan fashion, we had a friend from church smoke our turkey for us. It's been 3 years now since we've had a traditional roasted turkey and I'll tell ya, I doubt we'll go back any time soon. Smoking and frying are so much quicker and tastier than the old school way of doing things. Today was a special day for Matty. He got to sit in his high chair for the first time. Today was also his first taste of a veggie. We kept with sweet potatoes to stay in the Thanksgiving theme. After an early dinner(like 2 pm) we had a quiet night at home in preparation for the early morning ahead of us.<br /><br />The "kid's table"<br /></div><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgXxATDgRCli4Hjrc_numgBvQKErmhhHUq9H8kWiKJGI_kf9qMyOGCsdY8c3_pkpEzueYUXuVw8MA6BefMmQCYAgjZRr-q1kOIu5KI5jqRxp8oeNS-xoq9ovJEKqZdR_HalMIpTzCIR_5rL/s1600-h/P1030045.JPG"><img id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5275969633401603378" style="DISPLAY: block; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 400px; CURSOR: hand; HEIGHT: 300px; TEXT-ALIGN: center" alt="" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgXxATDgRCli4Hjrc_numgBvQKErmhhHUq9H8kWiKJGI_kf9qMyOGCsdY8c3_pkpEzueYUXuVw8MA6BefMmQCYAgjZRr-q1kOIu5KI5jqRxp8oeNS-xoq9ovJEKqZdR_HalMIpTzCIR_5rL/s400/P1030045.JPG" border="0" /></a><br /><span class="blsp-spelling-error" id="SPELLING_ERROR_0">Mmmm</span>...Sweet potatoes!<br /><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjLGSuhQo9wHvQasDNmBygJNAZ07rNPL_7m41NLo1inFiCxxeqnw4WZayjpu_Y4NuvIqGcarwI6r6ZHzA1OfOBF2oUcQAkEmJAay-2NpQFP7OpYIkNbuKASZjXtqE7SkN4fJqG2mTQ5inrn/s1600-h/P1030054.JPG"><img id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5275969993029880626" style="DISPLAY: block; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 400px; CURSOR: hand; HEIGHT: 300px; TEXT-ALIGN: center" alt="" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjLGSuhQo9wHvQasDNmBygJNAZ07rNPL_7m41NLo1inFiCxxeqnw4WZayjpu_Y4NuvIqGcarwI6r6ZHzA1OfOBF2oUcQAkEmJAay-2NpQFP7OpYIkNbuKASZjXtqE7SkN4fJqG2mTQ5inrn/s400/P1030054.JPG" border="0" /></a><br />A member of the "clean plate club"<br /><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjVu2H_BqfAVzdEc3HsWaQrq7adxc43g6XzuLEvYu3PE5lyTgAU6h5WfcSruj5H5GiJLadPCRpqLNzUtr0VyP5-BitB1poKV2k4AUJajoLvce7NCx3LkuWmh24P6LPiqZwqkouRlUCs2gPN/s1600-h/P1030059.JPG"><img id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5275970233489367474" style="DISPLAY: block; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 400px; CURSOR: hand; HEIGHT: 300px; TEXT-ALIGN: center" alt="" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjVu2H_BqfAVzdEc3HsWaQrq7adxc43g6XzuLEvYu3PE5lyTgAU6h5WfcSruj5H5GiJLadPCRpqLNzUtr0VyP5-BitB1poKV2k4AUJajoLvce7NCx3LkuWmh24P6LPiqZwqkouRlUCs2gPN/s400/P1030059.JPG" border="0" /></a><br />The grub:<br /><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEg_7h4AYRVxlM7yRMdphW9CVcefHyj3Km8lx3Dc8lKX7klkf-A9aDz58UFuIlcfgvQOefdStC2pp0PYXe0C4YywlwDpyzb3tV6xe6b7cDN87QkY71NrTXRuQ2ALbsILYS-X99tyn6NmtWCc/s1600-h/P1030070.JPG"><img id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5275970472393107234" style="DISPLAY: block; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 400px; CURSOR: hand; HEIGHT: 300px; TEXT-ALIGN: center" alt="" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEg_7h4AYRVxlM7yRMdphW9CVcefHyj3Km8lx3Dc8lKX7klkf-A9aDz58UFuIlcfgvQOefdStC2pp0PYXe0C4YywlwDpyzb3tV6xe6b7cDN87QkY71NrTXRuQ2ALbsILYS-X99tyn6NmtWCc/s400/P1030070.JPG" border="0" /></a><br />Mommy's <span class="blsp-spelling-error" id="SPELLING_ERROR_1">lil</span>' turkey:<br /><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhEddYZIc91fZ3xxyNDUHsT81cQ6AKgVtUIlJMRjzG7PgUOpPpNmlkemBrzBobibyXz8NPvjpjXN3mhQG3jHtWbw-S18PGcIcwC5jPCb4GHX5W0dO-CeaP5XOeBseZg65Z8Nn9QBhJd_EpB/s1600-h/P1030075.JPG"><img id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5275970661627913122" style="DISPLAY: block; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 300px; CURSOR: hand; HEIGHT: 400px; TEXT-ALIGN: center" alt="" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhEddYZIc91fZ3xxyNDUHsT81cQ6AKgVtUIlJMRjzG7PgUOpPpNmlkemBrzBobibyXz8NPvjpjXN3mhQG3jHtWbw-S18PGcIcwC5jPCb4GHX5W0dO-CeaP5XOeBseZg65Z8Nn9QBhJd_EpB/s400/P1030075.JPG" border="0" /></a><br /><br />Black Friday...2:53am: the alarm was still 7 minutes away from going off, but it's like Matt was a born Black Friday shopper! He was up wanting to eat. PERFECT! I was able to nurse the baby and still get up and out the door with my Mom by 3:25am. The 3 of us met up with Shelly and Austin at <span class="blsp-spelling-error" id="SPELLING_ERROR_2">Kohls</span> 15 minutes before the doors opened. I had this day planned out for weeks. So even the added bit of rain couldn't dampen my shopping plans. Kevin just doesn't get it. He has no clue why I love this day as much as I do. It's so <span class="blsp-spelling-corrected" id="SPELLING_ERROR_3">exhilarating</span>! A little bit of fun and a break from the <span class="blsp-spelling-corrected" id="SPELLING_ERROR_4">kids before</span> the official holiday season(except Matt <span class="blsp-spelling-corrected" id="SPELLING_ERROR_5">of course</span> since Hails dumped my pumped milk from the night before). Besides, I have been doing this since I was a little kid. It's just in my blood. Okay, back to <span class="blsp-spelling-error" id="SPELLING_ERROR_6">Kohls</span>. My mom stayed with the boy till the doors opened so that they were not int he cold. Shelly and I got the things we needed and Austin and my Mom hopped in line so that there was no wait. We were out by 4:15. Off to <span class="blsp-spelling-error" id="SPELLING_ERROR_7">Wal</span>-Mart. This was my BIG stop. Not only did I have a list of things to get from their add, but I also had a few things that I was price matching there as well. $30 family games marked down to $9.99, princess movies for $5.99, 8 GB flash drives for $12.99, the list goes on and on. The big ticket item was an 8" portable DVD player for $49 though. And no, that Christmas gift has not made it to Christmas morning. Heck, it didn't even make it the weekend. We already had a 3+ hour road trip and I have to tell you, it is the best $49 ever spent! 5:08(8 minutes after the early bird deals opened) we were back in our cars. And since we had some time between stores, we stopped at Starbucks so mom, Shell and Austin could get something to drink while I nursed Matty. While driving to Starbucks, we made a last minute stop at Old Navy so I could get Kevin a sweater and my mom a shirt that she has liked for a few weeks now. 5:45am we found ourselves in line at Office Depot. Matt was fast asleep with a full tummy all bundled up in his carrier, mom and I felt recharged with some Starbucks <span class="blsp-spelling-corrected" id="SPELLING_ERROR_8">caffeine</span> with just a few more things to get. Remember how I posted that crappy picture of a picture of the kids and Santa, well we have needed a printer for ages now. My mom got us one for Christmas...okay, obviously another gift that didn't make it till 12/25. I am in LOVE with my printer/scanner/copier!!! It is awesome. And while we were there, I picked up the same one for Kevin's work. He was told by his boss to get a nice copier and since Kevin is cheap, he had me just get one on Black Friday instead of paying full price like his boss suggested. For some reason, Office Depot was totally unprepared for the rush with only 3 registers open. This was the longest we spent in any store that day. We were out the door by 6:45 which wasn't too bad, but did put us a few minutes behind. 7:00am we were the first ones in the door to get my mom a $9.99 hair dryer at <span class="blsp-spelling-error" id="SPELLING_ERROR_9">CVS</span> and turned the corner to <span class="blsp-spelling-error" id="SPELLING_ERROR_10">Ulta</span> where she stocked up on <span class="blsp-spelling-error" id="SPELLING_ERROR_11">Shaper</span> Plus hairspray at a <span class="blsp-spelling-corrected" id="SPELLING_ERROR_12">bargain</span> price of $5.99 each(usually $12.99/ea.). I had to get something for Kevin. Especially since he was a trooper with his back hurting so badly. So next stop was <span class="blsp-spelling-error" id="SPELLING_ERROR_13">Lowes</span>. I felt horrible cause the one thing I really wanted, the <span class="blsp-spelling-error" id="SPELLING_ERROR_14">Rubbermade</span> cabinet for $39, was sold out. I did however <span class="blsp-spelling-corrected" id="SPELLING_ERROR_15">make</span> it there in time for the $29 14 gallon wet/dry vac which Kevin really did want. We were back at the house y 8:30 and the kids had just gotten up a few minutes before. They didn't even really know we were gone. <span class="blsp-spelling-error" id="SPELLING_ERROR_16">Ahhhhh</span>...another year of great Black Friday deals behind us and another year where I picked up more than stuff for Christmas. I tend to get more practical stuff that we've needed all year, but have been too cheap to get otherwise. Now all I have left to do is start my planning for Black Friday 09'!Kellyhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/01271154823194747536noreply@blogger.com1tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5410101228544802420.post-24829944453725592882008-11-20T07:32:00.000-08:002008-12-04T17:23:48.838-08:00You Win Some, You Loose SomeOkay, well I posted earlier that I would explain how my health and Matty's eating habits are connected. So here it goes.<br /><br /><br /><br />As the title says, you win some and you loose some. I seem to be loosing these days. And I mean that in many senses of the term. For those of you that know me, I have always struggled with my weight. I was bigger growing up and seemed to grow out before I would grow up. I took control of my weight a few years ago and have been able to maintain a healthy weight for some time now. Enter Matt. He's thriving. Doing really well. It seems however that I am having a hard time maintaining my weight while nursing him among other issues. With my recent weight loss, I find myself in a place I've neer been before...trying to GAIN weight. Go figure. When is that last time you've heard a woman say that, right?!?!? Well, back to the story. Matt's nursing has done more than damage the numbers on the scale. Back in September, I ran a 5k. No big deal. I mean, it's only 3 miles. The good news is that I beat my time from 2007. I was proud that I was able to bounce back to the asphault so shortly after having a baby. However some of my motavation for running fast was the fact that about a mile into the race, my bladder spasmed and I wet myself. And I'm not talking about a little leakage. I'm talking about fully empting my bladder. It was horrible. Embarrassing. My only saving grace was that it was a night race. Knowing that something was obviously wrong, I saught the help of my doctor and after some test were run, it was determined that my bladder had fallen. Did you know that 75% of women have some bladder damage post partum? I didn't know that either! And of the women who have issues, 75% of those have their symptoms get worse with age. 10% of women that need surgical repair have the proceedure done before the age of 80. So yeah, I was feeling kinda old after hearing that stat, but it was comforting to know that I'm not the only one who has these issues. On November 12th, I went infor surgery. It was to be a 30 minute out patient thing with little to no time int he hospital. I remember waking up and feeling positive. Kevin came in to check on me and that's when he broke the news to me. After 3 hours in the OR, my doctor was unable to fix me. If anything, there was more damage. It seems that breast feeding has somehow depleted my nutrience and in doing so, my body was unable to heal itself after Matthew's birth. In addition, I have been unable to keep weight on to help my body in the process. Now I start the long road to recovery. I am not going to rush Matt to stop nursing. That's not fair to him. And besides, a year or so of my time is nothing compared to a life time of health and other benefits that breast feeding provides. I plan on letting Matthew wean himself close at close to a year old. Unless his teething becomes an issue. In that case, I'm puttin my foot down! Then I can start taking extra vitamins and medications to help my body prepare for surgery again. At that point, I can get back to running. I can work on my dream of qualifing for Boston. All in time I guess. In the mean time, pass me an extra slice of pie...I've got some weight to put on.Kellyhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/01271154823194747536noreply@blogger.com1
